Social Media Tips for Businesses That Don’t Love Social Media
Not a fan of hashtags, reels, or dancing in front of the camera? Good news—you don’t have to be.
If you run a service-based business and want a no-nonsense approach to social media, here’s how to keep it simple:
1. Batch Your Content
Set aside 1–2 hours a month to prep and schedule your posts. Use a tool like Meta Business Suite to stay ahead.
2. Tell the Story of Your Work
Finished a big job? Snap a before/after photo and share what made it unique. That’s marketing.
3. Use Your Bio Wisely
Make sure your business name, service area, and contact info are easy to find. Bonus: add a link to your quote request form.
4. Outsource Strategically
If managing it yourself adds stress, find someone who understands your industry and can speak in your voice. (Hint, hint: that’s what I do.)
5. Progress > Perfection
Your social media doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to reflect the same professionalism you bring to the job site.
